Work Safely in the Construction Industry (White Card)

This unit of competency specifies the outcomes required to undertake Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) induction training within the construction industry. It requires the ability to demonstrate personal awareness of OHS legislative requirements, and the basic principles of risk management and prevention of injury and illness in the construction industry.
CPCCOHS1001A Work Safely in the construction industry (White Card) is a mandatory requirement under the law for all persons wishing to carry out construction type work. It allows persons doing the course to develop basic skills and knowledge in relation to risk management and relevant Workplace Health & Safety obligations and requirements.
Upon successfully completing the course a laminated white card will be provided to you. It will have a serial number and will contain your signature and the date of the course. You will also be issued with a statement of attainment once you have successfully completed the program.
This is a Nationally Recognised course within the AQF (Australian Qualifications Framework).
