This qualification reflects the role of skilled operators who use a range of well-developed hospitality skills. They use discretion and judgement and have a sound knowledge of industry operations. They work with some independence and under limited supervision and may provide operational advice and support to team members.

Fulltime: 25 Academic Weeks

Flexible Delivery: 12 Months (Max)

    1. Classroom based
    2. Workplace based (Flexible)
    3. Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL)
    4. A combination of the above

After completing this course, students may work in the hospitality industry or take further studies such as SIT40416 - Certificate IV in Hospitality or SIT40516 Certificate IV in Commercial Cookery.
