Certificate IV in Ageing Support

This qualification reflects the role of support workers who complete specialised tasks and functions in aged services; either in residential, home or community based environments. Workers will take responsibility for their own outputs within defined organisation guidelines and maintain quality service delivery through the development, facilitation and review of individualised service planning and delivery.

The duration to complete this competency based qualification is up to 12 months.
The New England College flexible training model takes into account the learner’s skills and knowledge acquired through previous training and experience. This may lead to a reduction in the time required to complete this course.
Fee For Service - $4050
Higher Level Skills - Funded by the Queensland Government
Dependent on your concessional status, under the Higher Level Skills, you are required to contribute to the costs of your training through a co-contribution fee. New England College charges the following co-contribution fees for the courses we offer under the Higher Levels Skills:
Concessional student co-contribution fee - $69 Non-concessional student co-contribution fee- $99
Once you have completed a Certificate IV level vocational qualification under the Higher Level Skills program you will no longer be eligible for any additional government subsidised training.
