This Certificate III in Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology equips students with the skills and knowledge required to perform a broad range of tasks on a variety of light vehicles in the automotive service and repair industry.
This qualification level is intended to prepare new employees or recognises and develops existing workers who performing mechanical work in the automotive light vehicle service and repair industry.

The duration to complete this competency based qualification is up to 12 - 18 months for Fee for Service Students.
This duration is proportionately increased for full-time, part-time and school based apprenticeship arrangements.
